Judge Massry for New York State Supreme Court

An experienced, compassionate and fair judge for one of our most important courts.

A Message from Judge Norm Massry…

IMG_0071For the past five and a half years, it has been my privilege to serve in what is one of the busiest courts in upstate New York – the Colonie Justice Court.  I have had the honor to serve our great community with respect and integrity, and to treat every case, large and small, with the utmost care and attention. I have worked steadfastly and diligently to dispense justice fairly and impartially, holding true to my belief that the judiciary should be characterized by integrity and independence, and with this, I humbly ask for your support as your next Supreme Court Justice in the 3rd Judicial District, including Albany, Rensselaer, Schoharie, Columbia, Greene, Ulster and Sullivan counties.

  Judge Norman C. Massry

In New York State, the election of a Supreme Court Justice is by Judicial District.  On November 3, 2015, voters in the Third Judicial District – comprised of seven counties –  will be asked to elect ONE Supreme Court Justice, for a term of fourteen years.  The New York State Supreme Court is the trial level court of general jurisdiction.  In this court, civil actions are heard, including such actions as personal injury lawsuits, medical malpractice cases, real property disputes, matrimonial actions (including divorce), and breach of contract actions (including mortgage foreclosures).  Additionally, pistol permits are granted in the Supreme Court.
